elementary school, had individuals waiting for
over 2 hours before being able to cast their
vote.

Traffic Signal Fell on Car
On Hempstead Turnpike, at the intersection of
Mecham Avenue, at approximate 2:10PM, it appears
that the traffic signal's cable failed and
caused it to fall on top of a car. The 64 year
old man inside the car was fortunate to have
only minor injuries.

Hempstead Town Board today a resolution calling
a public hearing on a local law in relation to
the establishment of energy star requirements
