National Night Out

Annual National Night Out Against Crime

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

            The Nassau County Police Department will be participating in the "25th Annual National Night Out" a unique crime/drug prevention event on Tuesday, August 5, 2007.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

bullet Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
bullet Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
bullet Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
bullet Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

National Night Out Event Schedule For Nassau County

5th PCT           An outdoor event is scheduled from 1800-2100 hours at Hendrickson Park on Merrick Road in Valley Stream. POP Unit will distribute crime prevention literature. The Town of Hempstead is supplying pizza and soft drinks.
