The Locustwood Gotham Civic,
the neighborhood organization that represents Western section of
Elmont from the Queens Line to Elmont Road is proud to announce that
our March 19th meeting will feature our two School
Superintendents, Mr. Harper from the Elmont UFSD and Mr. Meierdiercks
from the Sewanhaka CHSD.
We hold all our meetings in an open
forum that provide members the opportunity to ask questions and
receive answers. Important components of our community are our schools
and we encourage all our community members, neighbors and friends to
join this important meeting.
We all should be aware of what is going
on in our schools, gain more information about the budget and become
aware of its implication to our community and the value of our homes.
We must take each task and strive for
nothing more than the very best. For each issue or problem, whether
big or small we must find solutions to make our community of Elmont
the very best there is. Let us work together to improve Elmont:
our community: the place where we live. The Locustwood /
Gotham Civic is the “Voice of the People,” and we would like to hear
from you.
Our next meeting will take place on
March 19 at 7:30 P.M. at the Elmont Public Library. It will be a big
and important meeting that no one will want to miss!
