Nassau County Legislator John Ciotti standing behind the civic banner with a few of our civic members at the 2007 Memorial Day Parade.

 

April 2007

School Superintendents, Mr. Al Harper of the Elmont Union Free School District and Warren A. Meierdiercks of the Sewanahaka Central High School District presented to our members the 2007-2008 school budgets to our members. They also entertained questions and comments from the audience.

 

March 2007

Town Council Ambrosino talks to our members regarding the error from the Building Department and answered questions regarding overnight parking, installing fences and other community issues.



 

Representatives from the Long Island Jewish / North Shore Community Liaison and Emergency Room Coordinator were present at our March 2007 meeting. They spoke to our members regarding issues of budget costs, and how the hospital group has and are still finding ways in improving care to their patients. Additionally, they mentioned the improvements in technology being present and the higher qualifications needed to be working at their hospitals.
