In our next meeting Mr. Ed Ambrosino will be our special guest. He will be present to discuss about Town of Hempstead services and to answer any questions the community may have.

The meeting will also have two web site presentations. First being the Elmont Public Library web site and the second one being our own web site. In the world of rapidly growing technology even libraries and civic associations must progress. However, some things never change. The importance of people caring about where they live. Be a part of helping and improving Elmont: our community: the place where we live.

Being a member you will be part of a positive group in the community. Protecting the investment of your home, the quality of life and to help support a better future for all the members in our community young and old and from all walks of life. United we have the strength to improve where we live in. On the 19th please bring your family, neighbors and friends to our next meeting. We are the voice of the community, and we would like to hear from you.

This will be our last meeting before we take a two month vacation. The next meeting of the Locustwood / Gotham Civic Association will take place on September 18.

I hope to see you on the 19th at 7:30PM at the Elmont Public Library! If I don't see you there, I wish you all a happy and healthy summer.
