GOTHAM AVENUE SCHOOL’S YOUNG MATHEMATICIANS RECOGNIZED WITH MATH ACHIEVER OF THE MONTH AWARDS

The high-achieving math students at Gotham Avenue School know that mathematical patterns can be found everywhere in their daily lives. For observing these patterns and for successfully working with math strategies to solve problems, 15 Gotham youngsters received Math Achiever of the Month awards. Dennis Cowan, assistant to the principal, proudly notes, "The district’s math curriculum holds students to very high standards, and these children have excelled."

The December awardees are: Cristian Acevedo, Alexa Amaya, Dominique Brown, Ethan Elliott, Chevfoy Fletcher, Elijah Karim, Jaiden Natrella, Josiah Nelson, Micaiah Riley, Henry Rodriguez, Sohaila Schmitz, Kyle Sealy, Darien Spencer, Titus Tom and John Bryan Wicdao.
